This website shares general information and personal observations about a skateboard pump track and the experience of riding on it. A pump track is a continuous loop made of rollers and banked turns, designed so that riders generate speed through body movements instead of pushing. This style of riding helps develop balance, coordination, rhythm, and flow while staying connected to the board.

Please note that this website is not managed by the pump track owner and is not associated with any organisation, club, school, instructor, or commercial activity. The only purpose of this site is to describe what a skateboard pump track is and to share interest in this way of riding.

About Pump Track

What Is a Skateboard Pump Track?

A skateboard pump track is built as a smooth circuit where the rider uses the “pumping” motion to maintain speed. Instead of pushing with one foot, the rider shifts weight through the knees and body to move across the rollers and turns. This makes the activity continuous, flowing, and highly engaging.

The track can usually be ridden in both directions, which allows skaters to experiment with different lines and approaches. Although originally popular with BMX and MTB riders, pump tracks are increasingly used by skateboarders and longboarders as well.
